RAMOKOKA FOUNDATION
About
Ramokoka foundation is a non profit section of our journey as a company. It was the brain child of Dr Ramokoka Dalton Matlhatse in partnership with his Wife Thabitha Matlhatse.
The foundation was founded in 2021 with the aim of assisting communities in areas of need where we have business establishments in line with our field of expertise.
Focus
This is mostly in rural areas and townships where we aim to improve the lives of disadvantaged students both in primary and high schools through donations and mentorship programs
The foundation is still in its infancy, however we aim to grow and reach out to more people in need, especially in the field of education amongst others. The hope is that we live a visible and lasting positive mark in the lives of the people we serve.
How to get Involved
The foundation welcomes all donations from community members, the private sector, government and the public at large. All records of donations will be audited by relevant and independent bodies and made available to the public on our official website.
The foundation is dedicated to the memory of the late RAMOKOKA DALTON MATLHATSE and MARIA REFILWE MATLHATSE who are parents to the company’s CEO Dr RAMOKOKA DALTON MATLHATSE.
Last year in 2022 the foundation handed over school shoes to children at a primary school in ramongoana that were identified by the teachers as being in need of the assistance. It was a great day for everyone involved. Snacks and drinks were shared. Everyone was in a happy mood. Hopefully this move to some extent gave back confidence and the will to strive foward for the kids involved and will thus make a mark and encourage them to attend classes and make the most of the schooling opportunity provided for them by our tax payers and all parties involved.
